  17.   MACH 5 is a cartridge fast loader
  18.  
  19. for the C-64 and 1541 drive, and it is
  20.  
  21. very similar to EPYX's FASTLOAD. This
  22.  
  23. cartridge uses memory between 679 and
  24.  
  25. 767 ($02A7-$02FF) for data storage, so
  26.  
  27. any program that uses this area for an
  28.  
  29. auto-start boot will not operate as
  30.  
  31. intended. Most programs, however, can
  32.  
  33. be LOADed with it in place.
  34.  
  35. Commodore's 'SKY TRAVEL' is the only
  36.  
  37. exception I have found.
  38.  
  39.   The ROM in the cartridge includes a
  40.  
  41. version of the DOS support program
  42.  
  43. very similar to the C-64 WEDGE. The
  44.  
  45. only feature missing that I use is the
  46.  
  47. ability to read the error channel.
  48.  
  49. Entering @ does not work.
  50.  
  51.   There is also a disk included that
  52.  
  53. contains a DISK ORGANIZER program. It
  54.  
  55. will catalog all your disks into one
  56.  
  57. program so that it is easy to find
  58.  
  59. any program, and find out which disk
  60.  
  61. it is on, and other information.
